Albert Watson

From the iconic Hitchcock series to extravagant shoots for Iris van Herpen, the British star photographer is one of the founding fathers of fine art photography. Throughout the last four decades, Albert Watson has made a name for himself as one of the world’s most successful fashion and advertising photographers, creating over 100 Vogue covers. Mick Jagger, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, or David Bowie – Watson has captured the Who’s Who. No matter the genre, landscape, portraiture, nudes, or fashion, Watson is always curious and ready to venture into new subject worlds and has remained just as an essential creative force to this day. Watson has had retrospective exhibitions at renowned museums and art institutions, such as the Kunsthaus Wien, Vienna, The Museum of Modern Art, Milan, The Photography Museum, Antwerp, and the NWR forum in Duesseldorf. His images are in the private collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Portrait Gallery in London.
