Jesse Frohman is best known for his black-and-white photographs of A-list celebrities that include Lenny Kravitz, Nick Cave Winona Rider. But the photographs of legendary rockstar Kurt Cobain during his final days are the ones that catapulted him to fame. These images are now part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York.

Frohman began his work for legendary New York photographer Irving Penn. He has since published his images in Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Interview, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. In addition to his portrait work, he has also worked extensively in the still life and landscape genres.
