Arthur Elgort
Claudia Schiffer causing a mob in Rome, Kate Moss dancing on the tables in Paris – star photographer Arthur Elgort has eternalised some of the most iconic moments in fashion photography. Elgort is a lover of all things beautiful: ballet, haute couture, or the rough attraction of the Rolling Stones. Through his signature ‘snapshot’ style supermodels of the ‘80s and ‘90s, from Linda Evangelista to Christy Turlington, appear both larger-than-life and authentic at the same time. Shaking up the stiff and wooden style of studio photography at the time, Elgort ventured into city streets, cafés, and parks to create carefree styles that took on a life of their own.
